Becoming Bat Boy

I have since worked more on this little gremlin! Using Citadel black primer I spray painted his head black and mapped out where I want to root his hair and where the ears will go and used a Dremel to drill them. The paint showcases all his dents and scratches, but that doesn't matter to me; it adds more character.
Before painting the feet I used Apoxie Sculpt to form lips around which the legs can be tied.
And last but not least I sewed his wings and ears! I used black velveteen and some gray linen I had lying around in the scrap bin, which I will also be using for his body. I have yet to decide if I want to put felt or batting in his wings to help stabilize them, but for now I just cut some jewelry wire to help them keep their shape.
The next steps I have planned are painting his face and working on the hair, but I have some paintings I need to work on in the meantime Until then!
